Every project starts somewhere. I had to fail at my only dream before I could start this one. This post explains who I am and what I’m doing with this site. It’s dark, like espresso or MAC’s Smolder eyeliner, but I can’t explain what brought me here without it.
It may be hard out there for a pimp, but it’s not easy for a broke-ass writer and tiara researcher, either. Join me on the ups and downs of researching stories where all the witnesses are dead, most of the sources are in languages I don’t speak, and no one thought to write down the most pivotal moments in some of these stories at all.
